PARIS JE T'AIME is a collection of 18 short films as a homage to The City Of Light. With directors such as Gus Van Sant, Alexander Payne, Wes Craven, and the Coen brothers participating, the tales are as varied and oddball as you might expect. Each tale is markedly unique, and specific to the quirky style of its director.
I love the diversity of the styles of film and the storylines. The whole feel of the collection is romantic and inspiring. The films touch upon culture, displacement and the confusion between cultures, themes which Chalayan touches on in several of his collections. The two films I particularly loved I will go into more detail with next.
