TEMPORAL MEDITATIONS

In temporal meditations, Chalayan captures the island of Cyprus and its migration history. He uses the history of his native country in an unconventional manner. To be honest, this collection doesn't interest me as much as his other creations.

ANTHROPOLOGY OF SOLITUDES

This collection articulates solitariness. Chalayan uses volume and big collars to create a sense of vulnerability from the garments. There are also elements of Turkish costume in some of the garments towards the end of the collection. The sense of isolation could be interesting in a film.
